Benjamin Goss is a sales and marketing professional with over two decades of experience. His career highlights include personally selling or being responsible for more than $100 million in gross sales, reviewing over 50,000 resumes, and conducting more than 15,000 interviews to build sales teams or help other companies develop their sales teams.

Benjamin is intimately familiar with the feeling of having his hair on fire while trying to slow things down and focus on the people he is with. Despite some failures along the way, including deals being stolen from him and employers reneging on agreements, he has continued to grow and develop his skills as a sales professional.

As an author, Benjamin has self-published several guides and two books, including one on storm restoration contracting. Prior to embarking on his current projects, he read more than 150 books on sales and business topics, attended hundreds of hours of seminars, and watched thousands of hours of videos on the same topics.

Benjamin earned his master’s in business administration (MBA) from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and has recruited and trained hundreds of salespeople, made thousands of cold calls, knocked on thousands of doors, and successfully completed thousands of sales presentations resulting in revenue for the companies he has represented. He has worked in over 15 major metro markets across the United States and has moved his family to seven of them, including Philadelphia, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, Kansas City, Omaha, and Richmond.

With over 25 years of experience in various phases and market verticals within the construction industry, Benjamin is a seasoned professional in the storm restoration industry with an emphasis on roofing. He has personally conducted over 10,000 storm damage inspections, completed Xactimate estimates for more than 4,000 projects, and completed restoration projects for complex historic and commercial properties, such as those using natural slate and Ludowici clay tile.

Benjamin holds several certifications, including FLIR Level 1, flat roof certifications (EPDM, TPO, and PVC), roof coatings systems, and tile roof certification in all 50 states, including Florida High Wind Tile Installation certification. Additionally, he was licensed as the qualifying party as a Class A general contractor with no height restrictions in multiple states and jurisdictions.

Despite his impressive accomplishments, Benjamin is most proud of raising six amazing children with his wife of more than 26 years. They also have two Doberman Pinschers who they consider a part of their family.

Benjamin is passionate about talking and engaging in conversation, and he has found that writing is another way to share his knowledge and experiences.
